‘A Strange Visitor’ quest steps and walkthrough in The Sims 4

The “A Strange Visitor” quest is part of the series of timed-limited quests in the “Blast from the Past” event in The Sims 4.

Each week in the event brings new story content for players to complete. If you do this quest — and all the other quests part of the event — you can get free items like The Suprise Birthday Cake and The ElectroDance Floor.

Here is how to unlock and complete the week one “A Strange Visitor” quest in the “Blast from the Past” event in The Sims 4.

The next series of events will have you running around and getting all the info you can on this mysterious character named Emit Relevart and his missing belongings. We go through the quest step by step below, but it’s remember that you can always track the quest at any point by clicking the Sims Plumbob in the top left-hand corner of the screen. Here is how to complete the “A Strange Visitor Quest” in The Sims 4.

Click any TV in your house and select “Watch Channel…” and “Watch News.” Wait until your Sim has watched 15 minutes of news in the game’s time. Now go check Emit’s social media profile. Do this by clicking the phone icon in the bottom left action bar. This will pull out the phone menu. Click the red app icon labeled “Social” that looks like a mouth talking. In the Social menu, select the option that says, “Check Emit’s Profile.” Wait a bit. It will prompt a new task: “Ask other Sims about Emit.”

As the quest task suggests, we’re going to talk to some other Sims. Talk to three different Sims and select the option, “Ask about Emit.” Note, you might need to introduce yourself before this option appears. Once you do this three times, the next step of the quest will be, “Travel to Magnolia Blossom Park in Willow Creek.”

To travel to Magnolia Blossom Park, open your phone, and select the “Travel” button that looks like a green car. This will pull up a map of the neighborhood spots you can travel to. If you’re in another town, like Oasis Springs or Newcrest, click the “World Select” button in the top left-hand corner of the screen and select Willow Creek. Once in Willow Creek, click on Magnolia Blossom park in the center of town and the “confirm” button in the right-hand corner to go there.

Now time to find Emit Relevart. Scan the park until you find a Sim with bright blue hair and hexagon-shaped sunglasses. Once you see him — we found him playing chess with another Sim by the fountain — introduce yourself to him. Click him again and select the “Ask about Missing Items” option. He’s going to have you ask around town about his missing stuff. This time you are going to talk to three Sims and select “Ask about missing items.”

Once you do that, “A Strange Visitor” is complete and you can get started on the next quest, “Missing Clues.” Or see a list of all “Blast from the Past” rewards here.
