We're less than a week out from Black Friday 2024, but lots of major deals are already live on pretty much all categories of Apple products. Whether you’re in the market for a new pair of AirPods, an Apple Watch, iPad, or even AirTags to keep track of things you might lose, you can already save cash at retailers across the map. Let’s take a look at the Apple products on sale for Black Friday.
AirPod Deals
AirPod Pro (2nd Gen with USB-C) are on sale at Amazon for $169 right now. That’s nearly the lowest we’ve seen (it dropped to $159 briefly earlier this week). So if you need them now, grab them; otherwise you can probably score them for $159 again on Black Friday. As for standard AirPods, Walmart’s $94 price is probably the lowest you’re going to get on the 3rd gen before it sells out, as the 4th gen is now available. Amazon has AirPods 4 (both standard and noise cancelation models) on sale for not much more, which may be worth the upgrade.
iPad Deals
While the official iPad deals haven’t kicked in yet, you can score some pretty good deals on many of the models. A baseline 9th-gen iPad is already on sale for $199, the same price it was during last year’s Black Friday sale. Will it dip lower this year? We’ll have to wait and see.
MacBook Deals
This year's baseline MacBook Air with an M3 chip is on sale at Amazon for $849, a steep $250 discount off MSRP. This is a fantastic laptop for just about anybody, and will likely last many years with solid performance. And if you have any other Apple device (iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods), it syncs up your data automatically, which is always nice.
Alternatively, you can pick up 2022's M2 chip-powered model for $100 less. I'd personally stick with the M3 if you can swing it, since it'll give you more bang for your buck. And if you need more power, the brand-new 2024 MacBook Pro with M4 chip is also on sale.
Apple Watch Deals
Apple Watch Series 10 is this year’s smartwatch model, and it’s currently on sale for $329, which is $70 off the retail price. Last year, the Series 9 (the new model at the time) dropped to $329 for Black Friday, so this is probably the best price we're going to see this year.
New M4 Mac Mini Deals
Apple's brand-new 2024 M4-powered Mac Mini already has a $100 discount at Amazon when you clip the coupon on the listing. That's a wild deal this close to launch – and this is a powerful computer, despite its diminutive footprint. That M4 chip packs a wallop, easily handling nearly any computing task you can throw at it.
Apple iMac with M4 Chip (2024)
Just like the Mini, the iMac, an all-in-one desktop computer, got the M4 updgrade this year. The colors are gorgeous, as is the Retina display. This machine looks great on any desk you put it on, and it packs a whole lot of computing power.
AirTag Deals
AirTags are the unsung heroes of the Apple lineup. They’re not flashy like some of the other products, but they’re good at their job. They tell you the location of whatever you’ve attached them to, be that your keys, wallet, or even child. A four-pack is currently on sale for $72.99, which is real close to their all-time low price of $69.99. I wouldn’t expect them to drop much lower this Black Friday.
Apple Store Black Friday Sale Dates
Apple rarely offers discounts on its products. So instead of dropping prices in the Apple Store for Black Friday, it tosses in a free gift card with purchase. This year's Black Friday sale at the Apple Store runs November 29 - December 1 and gets you up to $200 in Apple gift cards with select purchases. What kinds of purchases? Pretty much any major product Apple sells: iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, AirPods, etc. Personally, I'd rather have an up-front discount like you can get at the retailers listed above, but if you plan on shopping at the Apple Store in the near future, a gift card could be a fine option too.
When Is Black Friday 2024?
While sales start whenever a given retailer sees fit, actual Black Friday 2024 falls on November 29 this year. That said, many Black Friday deals are already underway, as mentioned above. Use your best judgement about when is the right time to buy any item you're in the market for.
