With Black Friday weekend happening now, you're probably trying to snag deals while you still can. As we inch closer to the end of the biggest consumer holiday, it's smart to keep in mind what each big retailer is planning, when their Black Friday sales end, and when certain Cyber Monday deals begin.
As IGN's Commerce Manager, Eric Song states in his Black Friday deals post: "I've worked through numerous Black Fridays over the years, and my experience has always been the same: about half of the deals end on Black Friday at midnight, and the other half will stay live through the weekend and end on Cyber Monday."
If you want to take advantage of the best Black Friday deals before they run out (or decide if you should wait to get a new iPad or something for Cyber Monday instead vs Black Friday, consider the below dates and times based on your go-to retailers and what kind of products you're looking for. Amazon's Black Friday Sale Schedule
Amazon's Black Friday 2024 sale started November 21 and ended Nov 29 at midnight (PT). After that, the Cyber Monday deals will begin immediately after on Nov 30 and last through Monday, Dec 2 until midnight PT.
Best Buy’s Black Friday Sale Schedule
Via Best Buy: "Mark your calendar for Sunday, December 1, and Monday, December 2. Even though Cyber Monday technically falls on a Monday, we like to offer our customers a little more time to shop those hot offers by starting the sale a little earlier. Also, some Cyber Deals will be available after Cyber Monday as well. So, get your shopping list ready, your online My Best Buy™ account set up (it's free), and make sure your internet is working so you can get the deals as soon as they’re announced."
When Does Walmart’s Black Friday Sale End?
The mega-retailer is offering two events again for Black Friday. Here’s the schedule:
- Black Friday Event 1 - Began online on 11/11
- Black Friday Event 2 - Began online on 11/25 and runs through 11/30
- Cyber Monday - Begins online on 12/1 and lasts through 12/2
Costco's Black Friday Sale Schedule
Another retailer many people look to for sales is Costco. And like some of the other stores on this page, Costco's Black Friday deals began early (like they did in 2023 too). Here's the full schedule of Costco Black Friday:
- Online Black Friday Deals - November 29 (Online Only)
- Black Friday Deals - November 25-29
- Cyber Monday Deals - Dec 2 (Online Only)
- December Savings - Began November 29 and likely will last throughout December
Note: You need a membership to take advantage of the savings, but that's nothing new for Costco.
Target’s Black Friday Sale Schedule
Target’s Black Friday deals started on November 21 and will run through Cyber Monday, which lands on December 2. A new batch of deals will be available every Sunday, so check back each week. Deals highlights so far have included 50% off select headphones, 50% off select board games/puzzles, major Pokemon TCG deals, up to $150 in savings on Apple devices (like this iPad deal), Save $75 on PS5, and up to 30% off LEGO deals. Black Friday Highlights and Dates:
- Daily through Dec 24: Members of the retailer's free-to-join Target Circle program can score a hot new Deal of the Day through Dec. 24.
- Weekly (Sundays): Find a new lineup of weeklong deals dropping every Sunday.
- Nov 28-Nov 30: Target will offer special three-day-only deals Thursday, Nov. 28 through Saturday, Nov. 30, with twice as many offers as last year. Most stores will open at 6 a.m. local time on Black Friday with more must-have deals and two Taylor Swift exclusives.
Cyber Monday Highlight and Dates:
- Dec. 1-2: The celebration continues with a two-day Cyber Monday event featuring new, exclusive deals on Target.com and the Target app, and up to 50% off trending items across tech, video games, home and more
- Dec 7-8: 10% off Target Gift Cards exclusively for members of Target Circle (free rewards program)
- Weekly (Sundays): Find a new lineup of weeklong deals dropping every Sunday through Dec 24
