How to beat Night Rose in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1

Night Rose is one of the big bads from Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1. If you want to take her on and earn her medallion, you’ll need to seek her out and defeat her in a multi-phase battle.

Below we explain where to find Night Rose and how to beat her in Fortnite.

Where to find Night Rose in Fortnite

Night Rose is in Demon’s Dojo. You can tell where it is because her medallion will appear on the map. If the medallion isn’t there, that means another player has already beaten her and taken it.

How to beat Night Rose in Fortnite

As usual with these bosses, there are probably many other players swarming the POI, so you’ll make sure you want to loot up appropriately before heading in. She also has some smokey lackeys running around called shades. These may run up on you, but don’t take much to eliminate.

Note that in addition to just having somewhat different mechanics from the usual “just shoot at them” bosses, you can only start the fight by entering the dojo and firing at her. Trying to get some free hits from outside the dojo before the fight starts won’t give you anything.

The fight against Night Rose goes as follows:

1. Shoot at Night Rose normally to deplete her health bar.
2. Once her initial health bar is gone, she’ll summon a huge mask behind her and her health bar will refill. While the mask is holding her, she will be invulnerable.
3. Shoot the both of the glowing eyes on the mask until they’re not glowing anymore. After both eyes are gone, the mask will drop her, allowing her to take damage.
4. Shoot Night Rose herself until she’s eliminated. The mask may pick her back up, so you’ll need to repeat step 3 and 4 until she’s down.

Once you take down Night Rose, she’ll drop some special loot, including the Night Rose Medallion, Night Rose Veiled Precision SMG, and Night Rose’s Void Oni Mask.
